Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault born Salma Valgarma Hayek-Jimenez (born 2 September 1966)[3][4][5[5]] is a Mexican and American actress and film producer. In Mexico she started her career with the role as Teresa in the telenovela (1989-1991), as well as El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) where she was nominated for an Ariel Award. Her career quickly took off in Hollywood with appearances in films like Desperado (1995), From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999) and Dogma (1999). Hayek's character as Frida Kahlo painting artist in Frida (2002) the biographical film she wrote and produced that earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[66. In addition, she received her Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. Later on, Hayek focused more on making films while also playing in action-oriented films like Once Upon a Time in Mexico
