Bellamy Young

Young's acting career began in theater. Young made her Broadway debut on Broadway in the year 1997 with Mary, the first cast in the musical The Life. [8][9] She has also performed off-Broadway in Stephensondheim's musical Merrily We Roll Along (1994) as well as the show of Randy Newman, Faust (1995-1996). Her first appearance on television in the year 1995. She had her role as Dr. Courtney Evans, NBC's daytime soap production Another World. The role was in Law & Order as a guest on two episodes in 1997 as well as in 1998. In 1999 she made her debut on film with a brief part in the crime drama Black and White and later she co-starred in various independent films. At the start of 2000, she began guest-starring roles on a number of TV comedies and dramas, like The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. Between 2000 and the year 2011, Young made over 30 guest appearances on TV shows. Young was regularly cast in the USA Network series Peacemakers in 2003. After nine episodes, the series stopped after a single episode. Her recurring role was in the Lifetime legal drama For the People as Deputy Dist. Atty. Agnes Hunt on NBC drama American Dreams in 2003 as Diane Shaw, Dr. Grace Miller on NBC Scrubs in 2004 as Monica West, Assistant State Attorney Monica West in CBS CSI: Miami in 2005 through 2006 as well as Ellen Darling on ABC soap Dirty Sexy Money in 2008-2009 as the oldest son-in-law of the Darling Family.
