Emily Swallow
The career of Swallow began in Broadway theater where she appeared in various performances. This included High Fidelity and King Lear at the Guthrie Theater. Other shows include Much Ado About Nothing for Shakespeare in the Park. And the off-Broadway premieres Romantic Poetry and Measuring for Pleasure. Swallow had her first film role in The Lucky Ones, a 2008 military drama. She appeared in the world premieres of Donald Margulies' The Country House as well as Louis Jenkins' Nice Fish both at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse. The year was 2010, for her portrayal of Kate in The Taming of the Shrew She was awarded an award called the Falstaff Award. Swallow teamed up with Jac Huberman to develop the stage show Jac N Swallow. The two performed at the New York's Laurie Beeckman Theater in 2012 and at Joe's Pub. The plot revolves around the comical mishaps they have in which they attempt to deal with various situations and with different degrees of the morality of their choices.
