Andrea Anders
Anders was birthed in Madison and grew up in DeForest. She currently lives in Los Angeles. In 1993 she was a graduate of DeForest Area High school in DeForest Wisconsin. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1997. Rutgers University awarded her a Master's of Fine Arts degree in 2001. Anders and her Joey co-star Matt LeBlanc and their relationship lasted from 2006-2015. The two first met on the sets of the now cancelled sitcom. Her brother is director Sean Anders (Sex Drive, Never Been Thawed). Since 2001 Anders began her career as a theatre actress. In the Broadway show Proof that she played Mary Louise Parker's Understudy. In the following production, The Graduate, Anders played Elaine Robinson. On the Jump was her first performance on the Arena Stage. New Doors occurred in Guthrie Theater. Guthrie Theater. There were two New York Stage & Film shows: Cold/Tender & New World Rhapsody were also staged through New York Stage & Film. Anders made her debut on stage in Fat Pig, a Geffen Playhouse production. Fat Pig, which closed its doors on July 1 in 2007, had Anders play Jeannie a accountant. Anders was first shown on television in an advertisement for Dannon the show, which ran from 2006, and then again in the 1990s. Anders is most well-known for her character Nicole Allen in The Class. She was the wife of an ex-footballer, Nicole Allen. Even though she appeared in each show, they have been cancelled. Anders is also a guest appearances for One Life to Live, Law & Order, The Guiding Light and Tru Calling. Anders was featured in five episodes of HBO's drama series Oz in 2003 as Donna Degenhart. In 2004 she portrayed Heather as Heather in The Stepford Wives. And in 2008, Brandy made a small appearance in Sex Drive as Brandy in Sex Drive. Anders appeared on Numb3rs that aired in 2008. Anders played in two failed television pilots. Spellbound was one of them, and News To Me another. Anders has been cast most recently in Better Off Ted. It is an ABC one-camera comedy about a work environment written by Victor Fresco.
