Lis Wiehl is an American lawyer and writer who used to be a Fox News analyst.
She was previously an associate professor of law in the University of Washington Law School. She has also provided legal analysis for National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio program, The Radio Factor. She appeared weekly on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly, Lou Dobbs Tonight, The Imus morning show, and hosts The Legal Lis radio show. Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and she graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She holds an undergraduate degree in Arts in English from Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) as well as a JD at Harvard Law School.
Wiehl worked as a US attorney in the United States. She served as the legal correspondent on NPR All Things Considered. She was the deputy chief investigating counsel for Democrats from the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. Her tenure at University of Washington School of Law Seattle began in 1995 through 2001. She ran the school's Trial Advocacy Program. She was an analyst at Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
